Here are some things to consider…
First decide the type of vehicle based on your needs.
(Luxury, Sport, Exotic, Truck, Economy or Sport Utility)
Do you need a vehicle for a specific use such as transporting goods or people…? (How much capacity do I need and how often do I need it?).
Do I need power or fuel economy? (A vehicle with a small engine may be great for fuel economy but could lack in power when loaded up with occupants or items).
Are you driving a lot of miles annually? (If you’re in sales chances are you accumulate quit a few miles in a years’ time so you may want to start off with a vehicle that has lower mileage).
Decide if you need a four-wheel, all-wheel, or two-wheel drive vehicle. (If you are not sure about which would be best, just ask us, we’ll explain some of the advantages and disadvantages).
Choose your must have options (i.e. Moonroof, Navigation, Bluetooth Phone, Obstacle and Lane Warning System, Premium Sound System, iPod ® Connection, Back-up Camera, Heated or Cooled Seats, Leather, Vinyl or Cloth Interior). (These are only a few of today’s many options. Most cars come with standard features like power windows/locks and safety equipment such as airbags and anti-lock brakes).
Selecting a color combination should be last on your list. (When you are ready, decide on the colors that you don’t like verses trying to think about all of the ones that you do like).
Finally choose a price range. (This will help us pick out a year with the proper miles and options that will fit your budget. Your price should NOT include tax, registration and document fees).
One thing to keep in mind; No pre-owned vehicles are the same! So when you see what you may think is the same vehicle advertised for less than another, beware, there must be a reason. If it’s not the year, the miles, the options or the color, then it may be the condition. Has it had all of its services, new brakes, and new tires? Has it been in a collision? What is the remainder of the factory warranty, if any? Think Value here!
